EAST ANGLIA
CHARITY DAY RUN SUNDAY 25th MAY 2008
This year's MGF Register supported charity is the Norfolk Hospice at Kings Lynn and profits from this run will go to that charity. The Run will take us through the Norfolk countryside from Sandringham to Hunstanton where we'll finish at the village green for a show & shine competition. Cost £15 per car
Note: A minimum of £10 from each entry will go to the nominated charity. The remaining £5 will go towards administration of the event. Should there be any excess that will go to the charity as well, if there is a negative amount the MGF Register will subsidise any extra costs. Registered charity number 1062800. This is a bank holiday weekend so accommodation will go quickly. Some members are now booking into the Ramada, Kings Lynn which still has vacancies for the Saturday night. DON'T DELAY BOOK TODAY and let's make some money for the Norfolk Hospice. |

TASTE OF WALES MERMAID WEEKEND 6th and 7th SEPTEMBER 2008
A Fantastic weekend to give you a taste of Wales based at the Mermaid Quay in Cardiff. On Saturday we'll meet and take part in a circular road run into the Welsh Hills and out to the Big Pit where you can don a helmet and descend a coal mine if you wish. We'll finish back at Cardiff where you'll be free to enjoy the varied entertainment of Mermaid Quay itself. On the Sunday we'll meet at Plas Roald Dahl which is the old oval dry dock right in front of the Welsh National Opera House and a privileged public location where we'll hold a Pride of Ownership competition and can enjoy the day at Mermaid Quay with it's and it's bars, cafes, bay side walks, boat trips and there's even a Dr Who exhibition to enjoy. A must for fans of the BBC's Torchwood as the Alien busting organisation's HQ is right underneath our feet ! MGF Register day runs are great fun and provide an ideal opportunity to meet up with like minded MGF/TF enthusiasts for a day out driving the cars you love in scenic surroundings.
In 2007 we are offered four great runs for you to enjoy in Essex, Yorkshire, Warwickshire and Dorset areas.

Why not make a weekend of it though - many of our regulars travel some distances and do just that .Book a hotel near the start of the runs to be fresh the next morning. You may find other enthusiasts doing likewise by checking the MGF Register forum at www.mgfregister.org
Whether you join us for a day or make a weekend out of it we are always pleased to see you and if you've never done anything like this before you'll soon pick it up and make plenty of new friends along the way.
As with most of our events these are open to all types of MG so if you have an A, B, C or Z and want to join your F/TF companions then you are welcome.
