November 2003 Details
of the AGM, Spring Run 2004, the second Black Pudding Run and a SteamY DaY have been added to
the Events page. Unlike previous years, the MG Y
Type Register will not be producing a printed calendar for 2004. Please
watch the website and Safety Fast for details of events in the UK. We
welcome details of events aimed at Y owners worldwide - please send details of
any Y Events you may be organising (world wide) to the
webmaster. After the event, please also send in a report and photographs of the Ys attending too.</font></span></big></font></p><p align="justify">

November 2003 Today,
please welcome Greame Stansfield
with YB 1308
to Ys on Parade. Greame's car was yet another
"new" registration with us which is always welcome too.

November 2003 Pedro
has also now sent us the history of
Y
1996 a selection of which has now been added to his entry on Ys on Parade.
Thank you very much for that Pedro.
In the euphoria of getting a new country on Ys on Parade I
completely forgot to upload the mid-month
magazine abstract - this has now been remedied for you.

November 2003 Please
welcome Pedro
Bento de Castro with
Y
1996
to Ys on Parade. Interesting to note is that
although Pedro's car is a Right hand Drive car, he has adapted the fog lamp over
to the right hand side of the grille. It is also great to note that as we
move into the 200s of cars, that we welcome another new Country, Portugal, to
the international Y Type website. Pedro, your car looks smashing and we
look forward to more Ys from Portugal

November 2003 Pedro
Bento de Castro, a Y owner from Portugal, left a message today on the guestbook having
recently found the site and has pledged to send in details of his car soon.
It would be great to have the 201st car from a completely new country Pedro so
we all look forward to this ... and not only your car, but those of your fellow
Y owners you mentioned too please! See the guest book for Pedro's entry
number 108 in the guestbook.

November 2003 Please
welcome Katherine Moreland with YB 0480
to Ys on Parade.
It seems quite incredible that less than 19 months ago, when
we were thinking about launching the site and running a page for displaying our
lovely Y Types, we set ourselves the ambitious target of 50 - a target that we
have beaten by a massive 300%! This is a huge credit to you and to your
love and dedication to the Model and proves conclusively that the Y Type is no
longer a forgettable episode of MG history. Cinderella really has come to
the Ball! Thank you all so very much for the enjoyment you have given not
only to us, but also to our fellow Y owners worldwide. I guess we now have
to look to car 251? It's your call, and your site!

November 2003 Please welcome
Tim Tavani with Y 6842
to Ys on Parade. Tim's car is, currently, our
youngest YA in America on the site and is also our 199th car on
the Parade: the next will be 200! why not try and make it your car if you
have not already sent it in - please?

November 2003 As a
special treat, first suggested by Andrew Adamson in July 2002, we have a new car
on Interesting Ys - a YB pick up, yes pick
up, years before the launch of the MG Express vans!
Also please welcome Paul Davies with
YB 1262
to Ys on Parade. Paul is our 198th car on
the Parade, only 2 to go to 200! Keep them coming, target will be 250 soon!!
Thanks, we love it!

November 2003 Another
Picture of the Month harking back to the 2003
Spring Run awaits you with another pair of re-united cars!
Please welcome Mitch Tree with YB 1304
to Ys on Parade. Mitch is the 197th car on
the Parade and we are now only 3 short of an absolutely mind-blowing 200!
This is nearly 4 times our initial hopes of getting 50 cars, so a big "thank
you" to everyone again, and a big "come on" to those still sitting in the wings.
If you have a friend with a Y who is not yet on the website, please encourage
them to give you the details and a photograph, and file an entry for them too.
We also have a few new links for you on the
Links page under Personal web pages at different ends of the spectrum!
Also, on the Links page we have added a Wood Trim restorer and re-veneering
service under Coachwork.
