Please welcome Andrew Adamson
with Y 6041. Andrew's cars makes an amazing
150 on
Ys on Parade.
An astounding number! As we said at the outset, the idea of the page is to
"to provide a photographic record by chassis number, and to create the largest gathering
of Y Types in the (virtual) world outside of the factory!".
Undeniably, you have enabled us to do just that. What will the second year
bring? We do hope that you continue to derive as much pleasure and enjoYment
from the site as you all so clearly do from your Y. A big thank you from
us all here on the team.

registrar, Jack Murray, presented a very interesting report highlighting the
additional contribution to the known world population of Y Types made since the
inception of the website. His report can be

Please
welcome Brian Mellem with Y 1582 to Ys on Parade.
Brian is our first Y from the Principality of Wales and has owned Y 1582 for 43
years - there is dedication for you indeed! Many thanks, Brian, for the
picture - clearly the little girl in the picture is not in Welsh national
costume, but what has she got on her head?. Brian is our 148th Y on
Parade, only 2 to go to the truly amazing 150 Ys in one (virtual) gathering.
Please keep sending them in - we now have a staggering 1.78% of total build and
150 will take us to 1.80%! (Thanks again everyone for making my job one of
the best!)

He is the 141st car on Parade and the 150 is now well in sight before our first
anniversary! Well done everyone and thank you for sharing your cars with
us all.
A good source of used tools for your tool kit is John
Twinberrow. He is based in the UK so please be considerate of local time
differences if you call him. He and his wife are extremely helpful, but
will not welcome a call in the middle of the night, asking about tyre levers!
He does not have a website or an Email address as far as we know.

Jerry Birkbeck has asked to remind all prospective

registration closes. He has
around 32 Y's already signed up for the run. So come on there must be at
least 18-20 regularly used models that haven't
as yet applied. Come on lets get them in!
Jack Murray has sent in a picture of the front cover of the
Jackall manual for Collectibles too.
Then, of course, there is a new
