How to Submit Pictures


Choose one of these options:

  1. Email. Send a MIME encoded image file to <mxp@mgcars.org.uk> or if you are using Eudora send a binary attachment to the same e-mail address. Please keep emailed files small (under 30k).
  2. URL. If there is a picture of the car on the Web already, tell me where (eg http://www.mgcars.org.uk/pics/opl613l.gif) and I will go and get it.
  3. The Postman. Just send a photograph of the car to:
    MG Cars Enthusiasts' Club, DMR House, 8-10 Cleave Avenue, Farnborough, Kent, BR6 7HB, United Kingdom. Enclose a stamped addressed envelope if you would like the photo back.
There is no charge for this service. We can take most types of image format. Our favourites are gif, jpg and bmp. Please allow up three months for your picture to be processed - we have hundreds of submissions!

Pictures must be good quality clear images. Please don't send small thumb nail images, distorted images or pictures where the car isn't framed properly. We would like to keep the visual quality of this site as good as possible, therefore reserve the right to refuse poor quality pictures.
